Reflecting on Our Busy Fall and a fun filled Trip to BC
What a whirlwind these past few months have been — in the very best way!
September and October was full of energy, creativity, and a whole lot of candle wax. Our candle studio was busy with many MANY f bulk orders for holiday celebrations, whole sale orders, weddings and markets. There’s better than seeing stacks of finished candles ready to be packed up — knowing each one is a representing an opportunity!
But the highlight of the season?
Without a doubt, our trip out to Beautiful British Columbia for Summit 21, hosted by Down Syndrome BC.
This year’s event was beautifully co-hosted by Tamara Taggart and Madison Tevlin, and it was such an honour to be part of it, not only as a vendor in the marketplace but also as a speaker on the Self-Advocate Panel.
The day was filled with laughter, learning, and connection. Reconnecting with friends and meeting new ones! Best of all being surrounded by such a vibrant and welcoming community!
Dr. Noemi Spinazzi, the keynote speaker, shared incredible insights about equitable care and celebrating differences. Her message really hit home, that when we make space for everyone to shine, the world becomes so much more joyous and connected!.
BC will always have a special place in our hearts!
