It's been awhile since our last blog post and we wanted to give you an update!
Summer Magic.........there is no other way to describe this summer!
It started with a trip to beautiful Australia!
We attended the World Down Syndrome Congress - Together We Can, Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion in Brisbane. It was a wonderful experience learning from self advocates, speakers and participating in workshops.
Jacob gave a 10 minute presentation about BU Candles by Jacob. He also participated in the Welcome Reception Market (yes, my suitcases had more candles than clothes!)
We are proud to say BU Candles and Simons Soapbox gift sets are now in Australia and New Zealand!

The next World Down Syndrome Congress will be in 2027 in Buenos Aires, Argentina!

We also attended the National Down Syndrome Congress - Discover Opportunities
in Phoenix Arizona!
Jacob gave a 40 minute workshop about BU Candles by Jacob and an interactive activity. We also participated in the 3 day market (shout out to the custom agents who had to scan each and every candle in our carry ons.......they shared that this was definitely a first for them!)
Next year the convention is in Dallas Texas!
